I am one of those who cannot help but see numbers everywhere I look.  I am constantly coming up with different equations to help understand, calculate, and predict the world around me.  While most of this mathematical thought lies in algebraic and statistical form, I do love to explore new avenues of thought by revisiting the calculus, chaos theory, number theory, geometry, and probability from my school days.  But let it be said that I am just your average American living in New York, and that I do not work in a field that utilizes any sort of math on a daily basis.

This blog is an attempt to allow others to see some of the beauty of the world through my eyes, and to hopefully take math out of the realm of trivial and boring for those who see it so.  Drop by every now and then…I promise it will be entertaining.
